A North-east accountancy firm has appointed two new key management roles to strengthen its team in Peterhead.
SBP Accountants and Tax Advisers, which is headquartered in Aberdeen’s Queen’s Road, has been restructuring its Peterhead office to further enhance its service as it focusses on expanding its client book in the coming months.
Phil Bellringer has been promoted to senior manager whilst Sophie Hannah, has been promoted to a manager role 12 months after achieving outstanding results in her accountancy exams.
The firm, which also has offices in Fraserburgh and Banff, has already completed a restructure of the Aberdeen HQ which has resulted in a more structured approach, improved workflow with benefits to both clients and staff.
SBP is now keen to replicate this structured approach in the other North-east offices with director, Graham Alexander heading up the process.
SBP managing partner, John Hannah, said: “Focussing on our internal team structure has been hugely beneficial in further improving efficiencies within the business, which allows us more time to offer our 4000 plus clients added expertise where they need it, whether that’s within their business or personal finances, or taking an overview of their goals and supporting them to achieve them through a planned approach”.
“Phil and Sophie are already key members of the SBP team. Phil has looked after an extensive and varied client base in our Aberdeen office for more than two years. This will allow him to fit seamlessly into his new role in Peterhead. Sophie has proven herself to be a valuable member of our Peterhead team and is ready to take on a larger client base. They are both fully qualified accountants and have both proven their ability to deliver excellent service and fully deserve their promotions. Our restructuring exercise highlighted gaps in our management team in the Peterhead office and these promotions will support our drive to continue enhancing our service to clients.”
SBP, which has 32 employees and five partners, offers a variety of tailored business and accountancy services, including personal and business taxation, as well as a dedicated business services department to cover everything including bookkeeping, VAT and payroll requirements.
